Summer 2015

Here is an update of our summer activities....

Scott and I took a trip to Turlock to attend the wedding of the daughter of a high school friend of mine.  The wedding was beautiful and it was good to see family and friends and catch up.
Best friends from high school, Barbara and Ana, and still friends today! No, I am not saying how many years!
The happy couple, Eric and Siera.
My high school! Still looks the same today as it did back then (no, I will NOT say when that was). It could really use a paint job.
My favorite class and teacher, U.S. History with Mr. Abraham.
Scott has been wanting to organize his work area in the garage and so he has been working on that this summer and got it finished a couple of weeks ago.

Hard working and handsome! I'm so lucky!!
Ta da!!  It looks great!
Riley says hi!
My nieces, Morgan and Hannah, come out every summer for a week and this year they really made the most of their time.  They planned just about every minute and we did some really fun things.
Feed My Starving Children has become a tradition.
We're so cute!
Cori and Jordan took them to Sunsplash and then challenged them to Harry Potter Scene It.

We went to the Musical Instrument Museum where I found this treasure....John Denver's guitar!
I wanted to pull it out and give it a big hug!
They got to experiment on a wide variety of instruments.....

This one is for you Jo Ann!
We went to the AZ Science Center where they rode bikes on a tight rope. They are so much braver than I am!

Her paper airplane just fell to the floor is what explains those expressions.
Wheel chair races!
It was hard work!!
We also went shopping, went to two movies, Cinderella and Inside Out, went to Organ Stop Pizza, which is also becoming a tradition and passed out just about every night!  There was lots of good food had by all during the week....
Biggest hot dog I have ever seen.....
In and Out.....
Johnny Rockets.....
Organ Stop.
In the middle of all of that, I took a midterm test for my Stats class.  I don't have my grade yet, but if I just get a passing grade, I will be so happy.  It was ridiculously difficult!  But it also made me more motivated to finish this class!  So I am going into overtime mode.  I want more than anything to get back to History!! It will be so nice.

Until next time....
