Summer 2018

We have some fun things to catch you up on over the last three months so here we go...

Dan, Nicole, Camden and Wesley came down for a week in August.  Jared and Cate also came down for one of the weekends, along with Ashley and Jason so we had all of the kids together for the first time in four years.  We had a blast!
Getting out some energy after a long day in the car.

Checking out the water.

Grandpa's helper.

The rocks were a favorite.

We spent an afternoon at Main Event playing games and bowling.
It was fun for the little kids...

...and big kids too!

Hanging out at the bowling alley.

Red Robin for lunch!
There was some serious game time...

...and some serious swim time.

That's what I call hanging out in the pool!

There was also some serious flying off the rocks...

Followed by some serious nap time?  Nope, he's faking!
We also spent an afternoon at the AZ Science Center making airplanes...

...doing some serious puzzles...

...and competing in wheelchair races....

Gotta figure this out!

Thinking about getting a new bed?

It's everyone against....

...Dan!

Another serious puzzle.

Sisters!
Just hanging around.
The very next week I flew up to Utah and was able to help Gurrie move into her apartment for her first semester of college at UVU.
Congrats Gurrie!

Oh yeah!

More time with my favorite two boys.

Playing in the rain.

Having fun with sidewalk chalk.
Yep, sidewalk chalk is the best!
Scott had a Law School reunion in September so we headed back up to Utah again and got to play lots...

...and lots...

....and lots of games...

This game is hide and seek.

I also got to spend time on this trip with Kevin and Becky and their family and Jo Ann.

Family Home Evening at the park playing frisbee golf was the best!

Red Barn!

Spiderman puzzle!

I got to see Wesley play in one of his soccer games.

Cutest soccer player ever!

I also got to see David, Hannah and Aedan who is growing up so fast and is so cute!

Mom and Marlowe met us in Orem for dinner. I also got to spend some time down in Santaquin with them which is so nice that they are so close to everyone else now!

And I got to spend an afternoon with Abbey and Ruby!

She is so cute and so smart!

Just this last weekend we drove up to Prescott...
...to celebrate Ashley's 30th!

I think our family likes games....

Happy birthday Ashley!  It was so fun to see them and we're so excited for a baby girl in February!
We had to say goodbye to Riley earlier this month.  She got really sick suddenly with seizures and had to be put down.  We loved her so much and will always be grateful for our time with her.
We miss you Riley!
Scott is entering his last year of work! He has officially put in for retirement and will be done October 1, 2019!! We are very excited for what lies ahead.  I am frantically finishing up my classes so that I can graduate in April.  BYU announced last month that they are eliminating their August graduation ceremonies.  Yes, I was planning to walk next August.  Since I don't want to wait another year to celebrate, I am spending every single day trying to get my last two classes done for the April 2019 graduation.

We have had a great summer with family and friends and are so very grateful for the experiences we are having this year.  We're looking forward to the fall season and the holidays!

Love, the Klundts!
