Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Happy Birthday!

Okay, so it's been a while since I have posted.  I cannot believe what a crazy year it has been already!  After the holidays, I spent almost all of January finishing a class so that I can take the final exam before Nicole has her baby.  I just requested the exam and as soon as it gets here I will go take it and then be done with Latin America!  Next I will do something super easy, like statistics, ha!

We had a quiet Christmas.  We spent Christmas Eve with Corinne.  We went to Cheesecake Factory and then came home and exchanged gifts.  On Christmas day we invited a family from our ward over for dinner.  We played lots of games and had a nice relaxing day.
Waiting for Santa

Getting the Christmas story ready.
The day after Christmas Kevin, Becky and kids came down for their annual trip to Arizona!  We had a great time as usual.  They basked in the sun, although it was not quite as warm as last year, but definitely warmer than Utah.
Becky's birthday party...carrot cake and games!
Enjoying the sun at the park.

Games, games, and more games.

Becky and kids juiced a TON of lemons for me to put in my freezer.  We have been enjoying delicious lemonade.  Thanks!!!

Once again, Grandma treated us to mini golf.  We had a blast.

The championship team!
Jared and Cate came down that weekend also and spent New Year's with us.  Jared had his annual party with his friends and introduced Cate to everyone.  We also celebrated Jared's birthday at Buca di Beppo.

I hate the goodbye!!
We picked the Robinson's up from the airport after being in Bear Lake, UT for two weeks......
Ahhh, the sun....
Like I said, the month of January was spent working on my class and, of course, entertaining kids.  It's a nice break when they come over!

They love the oranges from our tree.
They love being out by the pool, even in the winter.

Scott dared them to put their faces in the water......
Josh's face says it all!
It snowed in Gilbert!!
Just kidding....our cub scout den won a contest recently and so the 2nd counselor in the Primary brought her snow making machine, thing, whatever, to our den meeting and made some snow for the boys and they had a super fun snow ball fight.  It was about 70 degrees though and so they had to throw fast before it melted.

This past weekend we celebrated Cori's birthday.  Grandma Klundt was here visiting and Jason and Ashley came down from Prescott.  Thanks, everyone, for being here to celebrate with us!
Back to Buca di Beppo for the birthday dinner! We had the same waiter!!
Back to the house for some ping pong....
Cori is always freezing!
.....birthday gifts....
....and Midnight Delight ice cream cake from Cold Stone!  Good choice Cori!!
2015 is already going fast and being filled with wonderful things.  Scott is super busy at work which is a blessing because it had slowed way down for a while a few months ago.  I am busy with cub scouts and school.  Also, our ward is being split this Sunday and so we are looking forward to making new friends with the members from our stake that will soon be joining our ward.  We continue to be so grateful for our wonderful family and the blessings we are all receiving daily.  We can't wait to meet our new grandson in a couple of weeks!  We are praying daily for a safe and uneventful delivery for Nicole.  We are looking forward to being with you soon!!

Utah Trip December 2014

Scott and I took a trip up to Utah to visit before Christmas and to celebrate Scott's birthday.  It was a really fun trip, but definitely not long enough!  It was so great to see family and friends with whom the visits are few and far between.  I flew up a couple days before Scott and spent some time playing kick ball, legos, cars, etc.  Here are some highlights: (Please excuse the very blurry pictures.  One of these days, I am going to take a photography class.)

Camden has a play date with his cousin Michaela (sorry if I didn't spell it right) once a week and this time Nicole had a yummy project for them to do - rice krispy Christmas trees!
Hard at work decorating the tree....

Ta da!!

Hmmmm....which one looks better?

Straight for the peanut butter cup on the bottom!

Look what I can do Grandma!

This kid will do anything to NOT get his picture taken.

Caught you!

Hard at work fixing the problem.
I was also able to go out to lunch with my roomies, Pam, Ellen, and Gayle.  So great to see them and catch up.
Friends since 1981!

I actually got him to pose with me!
Scott flew up Friday after work and after waiting and waiting and waiting, his flight finally took off three hours late, but he finally got there.
Spending time with Grandpa.

Everyone came over to celebrate Scott's birthday.

Had fun playing games....yes Camden was having fun too UNTIL someone took his picture!
More play time with Grandpa.....

Grandpa's turn!

Woke up on Sunday to SNOW!! Okay, it's not much but it was a great Christmas present for me!

Camden and I were quite excited....cannot say that for everyone else.
We are so glad we made that trip and saw everyone before Christmas.  It was nice to get away and play for a few days!  Thanks Dan and Nicole for letting us come play!!

Since we have been home, it's been crunch time to get ready for Christmas.  We have been doing Christmas cards, last minute shopping, menu planning, etc.  Agnes came over yesterday and decided she needed to make some Christmas cookies.....
....and she decided one in each color was necessary!

Looks like Easter!

Josh was very proud of the number of blankets he piled on the couch.

And now that the blankets were out of the ottoman, it made a great place for Zach to hide.

Riley was getting the royal treatment today.

We were treated to a piano recital. He is really good!!
Merry Christmas from the Klundt's!!
