Spring 2017 Continues!

Lots going on this spring so let's get to it!

We'll start it off with a beautiful sunset we happened upon one evening.  It's been a cool spring, for the most part, which has been nice, I like easing into summer as slowly as possible!

Scott has been spoiling me with flowers lately.  They always make my day!!
Happy birthday Agnes!

Kids have been swimming since February!

I've been hooked on puzzles lately. Karina got me this one and it has a piece missing...can you spot the hole?
We decided it was time to replace our carpet. I had been putting it off because of all the work involved in replacing it in every room.  But it turned out to be not as bad as I thought.  We were up pretty late the night before getting the last bits and pieces out but we made it!
The only room in the house that didn't get changed so it was used to hold pretty much everything.

It turned out beautiful!

We are still shocked that they were in and out in one day!!
Now that the carpet was in we were able to put the finishing touches on the guest room.

So thankful for Scott taking care of all of this stuff!!

Becky's work of love is finally home!
We have been attending lots of end-of-year school concerts/activities.
Agnes is playing that big bass on the left.

Malia was Elizabeth Blackwell at Tea at the White House this year.

Clark rocked it at the South Valley Junior High symphony concert.
Gurrie and Oscar shined bright at the Campo Verde High School Symphony concert.

Jo Ann came down for a visit just in time to help me put everything away after the carpet was installed....I'm sure she was so happy about that!  But thanks to her, we got everything put back in a matter of hours.  However, most of the things we did was a lot more fun...
Like dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant...
...and spending a morning in the yard...I guess that's fun for some people!
We also spent a super fun evening at the Orpheum Theatre watching a magical night of Broadway.
It was super fun, thanks for coming Jo Ann!
This past weekend Scott and I went to Montana to see Tori graduate from the University of Montana.  It was the first time we had been up there to see where Jon and Tracy live and it is BEAUTIFUL!
First sighting of snow on our way from the airport...a great start to the weekend!

It was a long drive from the Spokane airport but this is what we had to look at along the way so we didn't mind.

Friday evening celebration dinner.

View from their house Saturday morning, haven't seen fog like that in a while.

Hanging out on campus before the ceremony.

It's a beautiful campus.

All ready to take that walk....

Congratulations Tori, you did it!!

The sun came out!! They have a beautiful view.

It is such a beautiful house and a very peaceful place.
Papa's truck!
That is my grandpa's 1970 GMC pick up....tons of memories! My grandparents would take Jon and me camping with them in the summers and we would sit in between them in the cab or hang out in the camper in back, ha, which would not be allowed today! Jon inherited it when Papa died and has taken such good care of it.  He gave me the keys and I took Scott for a ride.

First time behind the wheel....well, actually driving, that is.

Hey! Watch the road!

Thanks for the new memories, Jon!

Right in front of their house....pretty cool.

We got a tour of the shop, which is in three buildings but this is the main office.

We also got the story of this poor bear's demise.

Sunday drive...

...ski slopes...

...and SNOW!!!
It felt weird to wear a jacket!

A couple of cuties!

Loved the winter wonderland.

The dogs had a blast too.

And then pooped out.
In between all the activities I have been working on my class and Scott has been busy with work and preparing for the Young Men's Super Activity later this month.  We are looking forward to being in Utah in June.  Until then....
